Seat allotment has been carried out based on candidates' rank, preferences filled during counselling, and seat availability across participating institutes. Once allotted, selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee of INR 5,000 by July 30. Candidates who fail to pay the fee within the given timeline will not be considered eligible for admission and their seat will be released for the mop-up round.

Seat Acceptance Fee and Payment
Candidates who receive a seat must pay the INR 5,000 acceptance fee online through net banking, credit card, or debit card to lock their allotted seat and download the allotment letter. The fee is refundable only if a candidate withdraws admission during the second counselling round and meets WBJEEB's specified refund criteria; withdrawal after the deadline results in no refund.
Options After Allotment
Once a seat is allotted, candidates can choose to accept, reject, or upgrade their seat. The chosen action must be submitted before the final confirmation deadline. Those who do not confirm their seat by the stipulated date will have it automatically cancelled and re-allocated to another eligible candidate in the mop-up round.

After paying the acceptance fee, candidates must report to their allotted institute with the following documents for verification:

- 10th marksheet
- 12th marksheet
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)

Missing or mismatched documents may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

WBJEE 2026 Round 3 Cutoff
