Fresh registration and choice filling for the final round opened on September 18, 2026, and eligible candidates can complete the process till September 20, 2026. The Round 3 seat allotment result will be announced on September 22, 2026. According to the official counselling notification, Round 3 is the final round of centralised online counselling and will be conducted against vacancies remaining after Round 2. WBJEEB conducts JELET counselling for admission to the second year, or third semester, of four-year undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy, except Architecture, at eligible institutions across West Bengal.

Who Is Eligible for JELET Round 3 Counselling?

Candidates who satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria and have obtained a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) or Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), as applicable, in JELET 2026 can register for e-counselling.

The Board has specifically listed the following categories as eligible for fresh choice filling in Round 3:

1. Candidates freshly registered in Round 3
2. Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2
3. Candidates whose seat was cancelled during document verification in Round 2
4. Candidates allotted a second or later choice in Round 2 who remained non-responsive
5. Certain candidates continuing from earlier rounds under the prescribed upgradation rules

How Does JELET 2026 Choice Filling Work?

WBJEEB advises candidates to select as many suitable institute and branch choices as possible and specifically advises candidates to consider at least 20 choices. If no choice is submitted, the candidate will not receive an allotment for that round. Candidates should also note that an existing eligible candidate who opts for a fresh choice filling in Round 3 will have the previous choice filling or previous allotment cancelled and must submit new choices for consideration in the round.

JELET 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment

The Round 3 seat allotment result will be released on September 22, 2026. Allotment is based on factors including the candidate's merit rank, eligibility, reservation status, availability of seats and the order of choices submitted and locked by the candidate. Round 3 is the final round and is conducted against seats remaining vacant after completion of Round 2.
