The VITEEE 2026 results were released on May 8, 2026, and the online counseling process is currently taking place. Through this counseling, students are admitted into B.Tech programs at the four VIT campuses. The entire counseling process is conducted online. Candidates need to register on the portal, choose their preferred options, and wait for their seat allotment based on their VITEEE rank.

How Do I View My VITEEE 2026 Counselling Result and Fill My Choices?

To view your VITEEE 2026 counseling result and fill your choices, you need to go to ugresults.vit.ac.in/viteee2026/ and log in using your application number, password, and registered email ID. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the "Forgot Password" option to recover it. After logging in, make sure to read all the instructions carefully and check the box to confirm you understand the process. Then, you need to pay a non-refundable counseling fee of Rs. 5,900 using the payment methods listed. 

Once the payment is successfully done, check the Important Dates section to find out your assigned counseling date based on your VITEEE rank. Then, proceed to the Choice Filling section. There is no limit on how many choices you can fill; you can select as many as you want. You need to choose your preferred campus, branch, and fee category. It is suggested to start with the lowest fee category. You can change your choices multiple times before the deadline. After that, your choices will be locked automatically.

Important Things to Note

The candidates with ranks between 1 lakh and 1.5 lakh can only participate in counseling at the VIT AP and VIT Bhopal campuses. Those with ranks above 1.5 lakh are only eligible for admission to VIT Vellore. If students applied under the MPCA scheme, they could choose any course offered in the B.Tech program. However, students who applied under the BPCA scheme are only allowed to select bio-related courses. Choosing a minor specialization is not mandatory, but it requires additional credits and extra fees. Also, once the seat allotment is done, there will be no changes allowed regarding the program, campus, or category.

What Will Happen Next?

After completing the choice-filling process, seats will be allocated to students based on their VITEEE rank and their preferred choices. The exact date for seat allotment will be announced on the counseling portal, depending on the candidate’s counseling phase. Students who are not allotted a seat in Phase 1 will get another chance to secure a seat in the next counseling rounds, based on their rank. Those who are allotted seats must pay the remaining fees within the given deadline.
