All the colleges in the nation stay to a single language to teach the students. The students are being informed before the session starts that there would be a medium of instruction. The student would have to follow this medium to get all the messages regarding lecture

The professor of Vellore Institute of Technology, Aswani Kumar Cherukuri who is the Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence has made approvement to the college which might help them become viable to the education system of the country.

The professor of Vellore Institute of Technology uses SARVAM AI to translate the lessons of the Bachelor of Technology program into Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and many other languages. The Vellore Institute of Technology might go on to dub lectures of all the branches into these languages. The Institute might have to dub lectures of 220 courses.

When asked about this, Aswani Kumar Cherukuri, spoke at great length about strengthening the system. Mr. Cherukuri said that “they wanted to see whether students can understand and relate to the complex topics when they were provided lectures in their own language..”

Mr. Aswani Kumar Cherukuri said that there is loads of diversity in students of Vellore Institute of Technology. He said that he noticed that there were students from almost every state of the country. He realised that almost every major language spoken in the country was represented in the classrooms.

….Ms. Cherukuri said that all the diversity made him think about how students from different linguistic backgrounds experience classroom learning….

He said that if all the content was available to students in their mother-tongue, probably, every student felt comfortable and looked up to the next classroom session. The Step taken by Mr. Aswani Kumar Cherukuri at the Vellore Institute of Technology might bring a change to the education system of India. The step might help other institutes to take similar steps in the future.
