The counselling process is crucial as it determines the allocation of seats for MBBS and BDS courses across various medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This round of counselling will cater to 85% of the state quota seats, while the remaining 15% will be filled through the All India Quota managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).Candidates must ensure they are registered on the official portal, upneet.gov.in, and are prepared with the necessary documentation to facilitate a smooth counselling experience.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) oversees this process, ensuring that it adheres to the established guidelines and eligibility criteria. For students who participated in the first round of counselling, it is important to note that they do not need to register again for this second round, simplifying the process for many. This announcement is a significant step for NEET aspirants in Uttar Pradesh, as it sets the stage for the next phase of their medical education journey.
