UP NEET-UG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round: Last Call for MBBS/BDS Admissions
The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has initiated the registration process for the Stray Vacancy Round of the UP NEET-UG 2025 counselling. Eligibility and Fee Structure
1. Who is Eligible?
The Stray Vacancy Round is exclusively for candidates who meet the following strict criteria:
- They must be NEET UG 2025 qualified and eligible for UP state quota counselling.
- They must not have been allotted any seat in any of the previous rounds (Round 1, Round 2, or Mop-Up Round) of UP NEET UG counselling.
2. Who is NOT Eligible?
Candidates will be disqualified from this round if they:
- Have already secured and joined a seat in any round of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling or any other state counselling.
- Were allotted a seat in any previous round of UP NEET UG counselling but failed to report, resigned, or were admitted (unless shifting from a previously admitted BDS seat to an MBBS seat).
3. Application and Security Deposit Fees:
Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000. Additionally, first-time participants must submit a refundable security deposit:
- Government Seats: ₹30,000
- Private MBBS Seats: ₹2,00,000
- Private BDS Seats: ₹1,00,000
Candidates who had previously deposited the security money in earlier rounds but were unallotted are exempted from paying the security deposit again for this final round.
Aspirants are strongly advised to meticulously check the official schedule and eligibility guidelines before registering.
