How the UP CNET Mop-Up Round Works

ABVMU first releases a list showing all available seats. This list includes the number of seats available in each college and category. All eligible candidates can log in and select their preferred colleges. Seats are assigned based on UP CNET 2026 merit and the order in which colleges are chosen. The final seat allocation is published on the counselling portal. If a candidate gives up a seat, it becomes available again in the Mop-Up Round. This helps students who have lower ranks get a chance to secure a seat. There is no interview or test at this stage. Candidates just need to confirm the seat online via the portal.

Participating Institutions for UP CNET 2026

The UP CNET covers nursing admissions at colleges across Uttar Pradesh. Both government and private nursing colleges accept UP CNET scores. The full list of colleges is available in the ABVMU counselling booklet. Reservation is done as per Uttar Pradesh state rules. Private colleges and minority-run institutions may have their own quotas.Candidates should check the seat list before selecting their preferences.
