TS ICET 2026 Counselling Schedule Out at tgicet.nic.in; Check Registration Process

If you sat for TS ICET 2026 and have been waiting for the next step, here it is. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the counselling schedule on the official portal, tgicet.nic.in, covering Phase 1 admissions to MBA and MCA programs across the state for the 2026-27 academic session.

A quick recap before we get into dates: the entrance exam was conducted on May 13 and 14, 2026, and TGCHE announced the results on June 12. Only candidates who cleared the exam can take part in this counselling. Five state universities are involved in the process — Osmania University, JNTU Hyderabad, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, and Satavahana University — along with all their affiliated colleges.

Here's how it works: you register online and pay the processing fee first, then book a slot at a Help Line Centre (HLC) for physical certificate verification. Once that's done, you move on to filling your web options, and the provisional seat allotment follows in September.

How Much Will It Cost You?

The Phase 1 Timeline

TGCHE hasn't put out exact calendar dates yet, but here's the stage-wise window they've shared so far:

Since specific dates are still pending, it's worth checking the portal regularly so you don't accidentally miss a deadline.

Registering for Counselling

The whole process happens online, and it's fairly straightforward if you follow it step by step:

1. Visit tgicet.nic.in
2. Click on the TS ICET 2026 counselling registration link
3. Enter your hall ticket number, rank, and date of birth
4. Pay the processing fee via UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking
5. Book a Help Line Centre slot for certificate verification
6. Show up at the assigned centre with your original documents and photocopies
7. Log back in to enter, save, and lock your web options

Getting Your Documents Ready

This part trips a lot of candidates up, so it's worth sorting out early. You'll need originals plus two sets of photocopies of each — missing even one document can get you turned away at the verification centre. Here's the full list:

• TS ICET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
• SSC or equivalent marks memorandum
• Intermediate or equivalent marks memorandum
• Degree marks memos for all semesters
• Provisional certificate and transfer certificate
• Study certificates from Class 9 through graduation
• Residence certificate for local area status
• Income certificate, if you're claiming fee reimbursement
• Caste certificate for reserved category candidates
• Aadhaar card and two recent passport-size photographs

Why This Round Matters

TS ICET is essentially the only gateway into MBA and MCA seats across Telangana's five state universities and their affiliated colleges. If you miss a Phase 1 deadline, you're not necessarily out of the running — but you'll likely be competing for fewer seats in the later rounds, so it pays to stay on top of things.

Your Action Plan

• Read the official notification on tgicet.nic.in carefully
• Keep the processing fee amount ready in your bank account or UPI app
• Get your original certificates and two sets of photocopies organized in advance
• Register and pay the fee as soon as the window opens — don't wait till the last day
• Book the earliest Help Line Centre slot you can find
• Show up on your booked date with everything in hand
• Log back in and lock your web options before time runs out

What to Watch For Next

Keep an eye on tgicet.nic.in for the Phase 1 provisional seat allotment result, expected sometime in September. If seats are still vacant after that, later phases and spot admission rounds could follow.
