TS ICET 2025 Counselling Begins: Your Roadmap to MBA/MCA Admission

For thousands of management aspirants in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the journey to a postgraduate degree has reached its next crucial stage. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has officially commenced the TS ICET 2025 counselling process, which is the final step for securing a seat in top MBA and MCA programs across the state. This news article is designed to provide a clear, step-by-step guide to help students navigate this important phase.

The counselling process is being conducted in two phases to ensure all qualified candidates get an opportunity to participate. It is a multi-stage process that begins with online registration and moves through document verification and web options before the final seat allotment. It's essential for every management aspirant to follow the process diligently to avoid any last-minute issues.

Phase I Counselling: Key Steps and Dates

The first phase of counselling has a specific timeline that candidates must adhere to. The online registration and slot booking for certificate verification began on August 20 and will continue until August 28, 2025. After booking a slot, candidates must visit a designated helpline center for physical certificate verification, which is scheduled from August 22 to August 29, 2025 (with an exception on August 27). During this verification, all original documents are checked against the information provided in the application, including the Aadhaar card details.

Once the verification is successfully completed, candidates can exercise their "web options" to select their desired colleges and courses. This is a critical step where aspirants must choose wisely, listing colleges in order of preference. The final seat allotment is based on the candidate's TS ICET rank, reservation category, and the college choices they have made.

Important Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the TS ICET counselling, candidates must meet specific criteria. A key requirement is to have qualified for the TS ICET 2025 exam with a minimum score of 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved category. Applicants must be Indian citizens from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and should have completed a three-year bachelor's degree with the required marks. There are also age criteria, with a maximum age of 30 for OC candidates and 34 for other categories as of July 1, 2025.

The final phase of counselling, or the "Final Phase," is scheduled for September 8 to September 13, 2025. It is a second chance for candidates who missed the first phase or were not satisfied with their allotted seat.
