The answer key for the TS EDCET 2026 exam was made available on May 15, 2026. Students can download the preliminary answer key, question paper, and response sheet from the TS EDCET official website. TS EDCET 2026 is a state-level entrance exam used for admission into B.Ed. programs at colleges in Telangana. The exam was held on May 12, 2026, and now that the answer key is out, students can challenge any errors they find in it.

Candidates must provide real supporting documents to explain why they believe the answer key is incorrect. The last date to raise objections against the TS EdCET 2026 provisional answer key is May 17, 2026.

Steps to Download the Answer Key of TS EdCET 2026:

To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the official TS EdCET website and follow these steps:

  • Click on “Preliminary Answer Key 2026." 
  • Enter the Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth
  • Log in and download the provisional answer key in PDF format

The preliminary answer key includes the answers for each set of the question paper, such as Set A, Set B, Set C, and Set D. Candidates can also check their own responses by marking the correct answers in their personal response sheet. If a candidate notices any mistake in the answer key, they can file an objection through the website. For every objection submitted, the candidate is required to pay Rs 500 for each question. Along with the objection, the candidate must also submit supporting documents such as textbooks and reference materials.

Process Following Objections

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education will review all objections raised by the candidates.
After analyzing the issues, the answer key will be made public along with the TS EDCET 2026 result, which is expected to be announced on May 30, 2026. If an objection is found to be valid, the candidate will get a refund of the objection fee.

The TS EDCET 2026 result will be declared on May 30, 2026, through the official website.
Qualified candidates can view their scorecards by entering their application number and date of birth on the website. Details about the counseling process will be shared separately by the Telangana Council of Higher Education.

Documents to Be Kept Ready

Candidates must have the following documents ready when downloading the answer key and result:

  • Hall Ticket Number
  • Registration Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Candidate's response sheet
  • Official answer key

All these documents should be kept available until the counseling process is completed.

What's Ahead for the Students

Once the results are announced, students who are eligible need to check their certificates by the given deadline. During the counseling process, they should enter their choices online as instructed. Applicants are asked to follow the guidelines provided by the Telangana Council of Higher Education for the whole admission process carefully. The answer key and TS EDCET 2026 result will be released on May 30, 2026. After that, the counseling process for B.Ed. admission will start. All applicants should get ready before counseling begins. If they find any errors in the initial answer key, they must raise objections by May 17, 2026.
