How to Download TS ECET 2026 Admit Card?
To download the admit card, candidates should go to the website ecet.tgche.ac.in. Then, they need to click on the “Download Hall Ticket” button. Next, they should enter their registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number, and date of birth.
After clicking the submit button, the admit card will be displayed in PDF format. Candidates should download it and print a copy for the day of the exam. If a candidate has forgotten their registration number, they can click on the “Know Your Registration Number” link. This requires providing details such as the payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth.

Examination Date, Timing, and Mode
The TS ECET 2026 will be held on May 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will last for three hours. The question paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions worth a total of 200 marks. For diploma applicants, the subjects included in the exam are mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering mechanics, each carrying 50 marks.
For B.Sc.
Mathematics applicants, the question paper will include mathematics worth 100 marks, physics worth 50 marks, and chemistry worth 50 marks. There is no negative marking on the exam. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
Eligibility and Lateral Entry
TS ECET 2026 is conducted for students who have completed a diploma or hold a B.Sc. in mathematics, allowing them to join the second year of B.Tech and B.Pharm programs through lateral entry.
To be eligible, a candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from any recognized educational institution. The exam is open to both students from Telangana and those from other states. Lateral entry provides a pathway for students to continue their education in engineering or pharmacy after completing a diploma or a relevant undergraduate course.
Important Documents
Candidates must bring a printed copy of the TS ECET 2026 admit card to the exam venue. A valid form of identification, such as an Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, or voter ID card, should be carried to the exam hall. No electronic devices, calculators, or reference materials are permitted inside the exam hall.
It is recommended that candidates reach the exam center 30 minutes before the exam starts.
