TS EAMCET 2026 Mock Allotment Result Expected Today; Candidates Can Edit Choices Till July 7

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) is expected to release the TS EAMCET (TG EAPCET) 2026 Phase 1 Mock Seat Allotment today, July 4, 2026, on the official counselling portal, tgeapcet.nic.in. Although the exact release time has not been officially confirmed, reports suggest that the mock allotment may be published between 4 PM and 9 PM.

The mock allotment is an important step in the counselling process as it gives candidates a preview of the college and branch they are likely to receive based on their current web options, rank, category, and seat availability. It is not the final allotment, but it allows students to review their choices and make changes before the actual seat allocation.

TS EAMCET 2026 Mock Allotment: Key Dates

Why the Mock Allotment Is Important

The mock allotment helps candidates understand how their current web options may translate into a seat during the final allotment. Since it is only a trial allocation, students can still improve their admission chances by rearranging, deleting, or adding college and branch preferences before the deadline.

Students who receive a preferred college or branch can choose to retain their existing options, while those aiming for better institutes should use this opportunity to carefully revise their preference order after checking previous years' cutoff trends.

How to Check the TS EAMCET 2026 Mock Allotment

Candidates can follow these simple steps once the result link is activated:

1. Visit the official counselling website tgeapcet.nic.in.
2. Click on the Mock Seat Allotment link.
3. Log in using the required credentials.
4. View the allotted college and branch.
5. Download or save the allotment details for reference.

What Should Candidates Do After the Mock Allotment?

After checking the tentative allotment, candidates should carefully evaluate whether they are satisfied with the expected seat.

If the allotted college or branch matches their preference, they may keep their existing choices unchanged. However, if they wish to improve their chances of getting a better institute or program, they should modify their web options during the July 5 to July 7 option-editing window.

Experts also advise students not to remove all backup choices while editing preferences. A balanced list of dream, realistic, and safe colleges generally improves the chances of securing admission.

Important Points to Remember

• The mock allotment is only indicative and does not guarantee admission.
• No tuition fee payment or college reporting is required after the mock allotment.
• Candidates who do not receive a mock seat are still eligible for the final allotment if they revise their options appropriately.
• Final admission depends on rank, category, reservation policy, seat availability, and the final order of web options submitted by all candidates.

What Happens Next?

After the option editing window closes on July 7, TGCHE will process the revised preferences and publish the Phase 1 Final Seat Allotment on July 10, 2026.

Candidates who receive a seat in the final allotment must complete the tuition fee payment and online self-reporting between July 10 and July 14. Missing these deadlines could result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

With the mock allotment acting as a rehearsal before the final allocation, candidates are encouraged to use this opportunity wisely. A few strategic changes in web options today could significantly improve admission prospects in one of Telangana's engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy colleges.
