AIAPGET Counselling 2026 Schedule Released: Round 1 Registration From October 26

Published 21 Oct 20263 min read6 Views

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has published the online PG counselling schedule for the 2026–27 academic year. Candidates who qualified in AIAPGET 2026 and want an MD or MS seat in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani or Homoeopathy should note that Round 1 registration opens on October 26, 2026.
The schedule covers All India Quota seats in government and government-aided institutions, Central Universities, National Institutes and deemed universities, along with the internal PG seats of Banaras Hindu University. Candidates should use the official AACCC PG counselling page and not confuse this process with NEET PG counselling for modern-medicine MD/MS courses.
AIAPGET counselling Round 1 dates
| Round 1 activity | Official schedule |
|---|---|
| Tentative seat-matrix verification | October 24–25 |
| Registration | October 26–November 1, up to 2 PM |
| Payment | Up to 5 PM on November 1 |
| Choice filling | October 27–November 1, up to 11:55 PM |
| Choice locking | November 1, 2 PM–11:55 PM |
| Seat-allotment processing | November 2 |
| Result publication | November 3 |
| Reporting at the allotted institute | November 4–13 |
| Verification of joined-candidate data | November 14 |
All times are stated as server time in the official schedule. Registration, payment, choice filling, and choice locking close at different hours. Candidates should therefore avoid treating November 1 as one common end-of-day deadline.
What candidates should do before registration?
First, check the current AACCC PG schedule page and download the official PDF. Then review the information bulletin, counselling scheme, participating-institute list, and any seat matrix released for Round 1. A timetable shows when an activity happens; it does not by itself confirm every candidate’s eligibility, fee, or available seat.
Keep the AIAPGET application and result details, identity documents, academic records, internship or registration documents, and applicable category or quota evidence ready. Use only the requirements stated in the current AACCC bulletin and notices. Do not rely on an older counselling year’s checklist without comparing it with the 2026–27 instructions.
During choice filling, save courses and institutions in a deliberate order. A long list is not automatically a good list: include only options you are prepared to accept after checking the programme, institution, location and current rules. Complete choice locking within the published window and retain the confirmation page.
Later rounds in the published calendar
AACCC has also scheduled Round 2 registration for November 16–19, with its result on November 21, and Round 3 registration for December 1–3, with its result on December 5. Reporting windows are November 22–26 for Round 2 and December 6–10 for Round 3.
Stray Vacancy Round I registration and willingness submission are scheduled for December 14–16, followed by the result on December 18. For Stray Vacancy Round II, the schedule says there will be no new registration or choice filling; choices submitted during the first stray round will be considered. Its result is scheduled for December 25.
These later dates help candidates plan, but participation rules can differ by round. Read the applicable AACCC notice before assuming that missing or leaving one round guarantees eligibility for another.
For now, the practical priority is to prepare for Round 1, verify the correct AYUSH PG counselling portal, and complete registration, payment, and choices before their separate deadlines. Continue checking AACCC for the seat matrix, information bulletin, amendments, and candidate-specific instructions.
