The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the registration process for Phase I of admissions under the TS DOST 2026 program for undergraduate courses beginning on April 15, 2026. This centralized admission process is for various undergraduate programs offered by state universities in Telangana for the academic year 2026-27.
TS DOST 2026 serves as the main entrance program for undergraduate degree courses in the state. It includes programs such as BA, B.Com., B.Sc., BBA, BCA, BBM, BSW, and D.Pharmacy.
The participating universities are Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Palamuru University, Mahatma Gandhi University, and Satavahana University. Eligible candidates for the TS DOST 2026 program are those who have completed the intermediate (10+2) course from the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE).

TS DOST 2026—How to Apply?
- Applicants need to go to the official website and apply using the Phase 1 registration link provided by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).
- An Aadhar number linked to a mobile number is required for OTP verification during registration.
- If the candidate does not have a registered Aadhar, they must go through biometric authentication at Helpline Centers, MeeSeva, or HCL Centers.
- The Phase 1 application fee is Rs. 200, which needs to be paid online while filling out the application form.
- After successful registration, the candidate will get a unique DOST ID and PIN, which should be kept secure until the admission process is completed.
- All the information entered in the application form must be filled out completely and printed for future reference.
- The web options feature allows the candidate to select and change their course and college choices.
- This option will be available from 30th April to 8th May, 2026, giving applicants time to update their choices if needed.
- It is recommended that candidates finish the web options before the deadline.
Future Steps for Students
- For students who have been allocated seats in Phase 1, they need to complete online self-reporting between May 15, 2026, and May 23, 2026, following the procedure set by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE)
- Registration for Phase 2 will be open from May 15, 2026, to May 25, 2026, for students who were not allotted any seats in Phase 1.
- Phase 3 registration will take place from May 31, 2026, to June 15, 2026, and classes are scheduled to start on July 1, 2026.
