Thiagarajar College offers 16 postgraduate programs in the fields of science, arts, and commerce, both in aided and self-financing categories.

During the registration process, students are required to provide their personal email IDs, as a user ID and password will be sent to them to complete the application. The college provides various postgraduate courses such as M.A. Tamil, M.A. English, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Botany, M.Sc. Zoology, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Psychology, M.Com. (CMA Integrated), and MBA in two sections.

Each course has different eligibility criteria based on the qualifying examination and the subjects studied. Admissions are based purely on merit and the specified eligibility conditions. Applicants must clearly mention the subjects they studied in their qualifying exams. There is no capitation fee or donation involved in this process.

Documents Required and Admission Procedure for Thiagarajar College PG Admissions 2026

All applicants are required to submit their original certificates during the admission process. Every candidate must provide the mark sheets of their first five semesters from their undergraduate degree for consideration in their chosen postgraduate program. Applicants are also required to submit a transfer certificate, a conduct certificate from their previous institution, and any other necessary documents if applying under special quotas.
