The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has now finally released the provisional answer key for DCET 2026 (Diploma Common Entrance Test). Candidates can now download the answer key from the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in .
The Diploma Common Entrance Test was conducted on May 23, 2026 for admission to diploma programmes in engineering and other technical disciplines. OMR response sheets are also available for viewing, allowing candidates to verify their responses and estimate their expected scores. An objection window is expected to open in June 2026 for candidates who wish to challenge the provisional answer key.

Candidates can download the DCET 2026 answer key by visiting the official KEA website and then open the DCET 2026 section. The candidates have to click on the answer key link to access the PDF of the answer key. By comparing their marked responses with the provisional answer key, candidates can estimate their marks.
The OMR response sheet is also available on the official portal, which can be accessed by logging in through the registration credentials. This allows candidates to carefully review the answers they have marked during the examination and check them with the official answer key provided by the KEA.
If candidates find any kind of discrepancies in the provisional answer key, they will be able to raise objections once the objection window opens. The process will require candidates to log in to the official portal, access the objection tracker, select the relevant question, provide proper justification, and upload supporting documents if needed. Any applicable objection fee, if announced by KEA, must also be paid within the deadline.
After the objection period ends, KEA will review all submitted challenges and release the final answer key. The DCET 2026 result will be prepared absolutely based on this revised answer key, after which candidates can download their marks and participate in the counselling process of the DCET 2026 for admission. Only objections submitted through the official portal will be considered, while challenges sent through email or any other mode will not be accepted.
