Aspirants who have qualified in the TS PGLCET 2025 exam and wish to pursue their Master of Laws must register on the official counseling website, https://lawcet.tgche.ac.in/, before the registration window closes. The process involves filling in the required information and paying the counselling registration fee.

Key Steps in the Counselling Process

The counselling process for both TS LAWCET (for LL.B. courses) and TS PGLCET (for LL.M. courses) involves several mandatory steps:

  1. Online Registration: Aspirants must register on the official portal and pay the prescribed fee.
    • General/Open Category: INR 800
    • SC/ST Category: INR 500
  2. Certificate Verification: Candidates must appear for the physical verification of their original documents at designated help centres as per the announced schedule.
  3. Web Options Entry: This is a crucial step where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. The seat allotment is largely based on the rank secured, eligibility, and the options exercised by the candidate.
  4. Seat Allotment: The provisional allotment list is released, and candidates can download their allotment order from their login dashboard.
  5. Reporting to College: Allotted candidates must report to the respective college within the specified dates to confirm their admission by submitting documents and paying the tuition fee.

Eligibility and Essential Documents

To be eligible for the counselling process, candidates must have scored the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam: 35% (42 marks out of 120) for General/OBC category candidates. There is no minimum qualifying mark specified for SC/ST category aspirants.

Aspirants must keep the following documents ready for verification during the admission process:

  • TS LAWCET/PGLCET Rank Card and Hall Ticket
  • Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
  • Graduation/LL.B. Provisional or Degree Certificate (for 3-year LL.B. and LL.M.)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Aadhar Card/Valid ID Proof
  • Caste Certificate and Parental Income Certificate (if applicable)
