TG ICET 2025 Web Options Entry Begins: A Critical Step in Your Admission Journey

For thousands of management aspirants who have qualified for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2025, the wait is over. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially opened the web options entry window for the first phase of MBA admission and MCA programs. This crucial step allows candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses, which will determine their provisional seat allotment. With the deadline to exercise web options on August 30, 2025, students must act quickly and strategically.

The Web Option Entry Process: What You Need to Know

The web option entry is a simple yet highly important part of the counselling process. After successfully completing the certificate verification, candidates receive a login ID on their registered mobile number. They can then log in to the official website, tgicet.nic.in, to begin.

The process is as follows:

1. Candidate Registration: The first step is to generate a password for the login dashboard. This is done by entering the TG ICET Hall Ticket Number, Rank, and Date of Birth.
2. Web Option Entry: Candidates can then access the option entry page. It is highly recommended to fill in as many choices as possible to increase the chances of getting an allotment. Candidates should carefully arrange colleges and courses in their order of preference, as the seat allotment is based on this priority, along with their rank and category.
3. Freezing Options: The final step is to freeze the selected options before the deadline. If a candidate fails to freeze their choices, the system will automatically save the last-entered options, but it is always safer to do it manually.

Candidates are advised to take a printout of their final options for future reference.
