Kakatiya University has started the TG CPGET 2026 registration process on May 15, 2026, through the website cpget.tgche.ac.in. Those who want to get into postgraduate programs have to apply online before the deadline. The Common Post Graduate Entrance Test is taken by nine universities in Telangana. TG CPGET 2026 is a test for getting into postgraduate courses in Telangana. It helps students get into MA, M.Sc., M.Com., M.Ed., and M.P.Ed. programs at the participating universities. This test is required for all those who want to study at Telangana universities.

The application fees are different depending on the category. General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs 800 for one subject. SC, ST, and PwD candidates pay Rs 600 for one subject. If they want to appear in more subjects, they have to pay Rs 450 for each extra subject. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 40% marks. SC/ST candidates only need to pass the qualifying exam without the minimum marks. Those with compartmental degrees are also eligible if they have 40% marks in the qualifying subject.
How to apply for TG CPGET 2026?
- Go to the official website at cpget.tgche.ac.in and click on the “Application Fee Payment” link.
- Enter your details like qualifying exam information, hall ticket number, name, date of birth, mobile number, and email.
- Choose a payment method like Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking and complete the payment. Then, click on “Proceed to Fill Application”.
- Fill the application form with all required details and select your preferred courses.
- Upload the necessary documents such as birth certificate or SSC certificate, category certificate if applicable, passport-size photo, and signature.
- Review the application carefully before submitting it. Also, print out the application form for future use.
You must upload scanned copies of the birth certificate or SSC certificate, category certificate if you belong to a reserved category, passport-size photo (40 KB in JPG format), and a signature (30 KB in JPG format). A valid email ID and mobile number are needed for registration and communication. If there are any mistakes in the application, candidates can make changes from June 16 to June 19, 2026. Visit the website again, click on “TS CPGET Application Correction”, enter your login details, edit the required fields, check all information, and submit the corrected form. The entrance exam will be in a multiple-choice format with 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.

Check all details carefully before final submission as opportunities to make changes are limited to a specific period. Once they pass the exam, qualified candidates will take part in counseling in late July or early August 2026 to get their seats. Classes are expected to start in the first week of August 2026.
