Tamil Nadu has extended the Round 3 allotment-order download deadline and the college-reporting deadline for MBBS/BDS counselling by one day each.

Tamil Nadu has extended the Round 3 allotment-order download deadline and the college-reporting deadline for MBBS/BDS counselling by one day each. Candidates can now download allotment orders until 12:00 noon on 15 October 2026 and report to colleges until 5:00 PM the same day. The choice-filling deadline has not changed and closes on 9 October 2026 at 5:00 PM.

What Has Changed, and What Hasn't

  • Extended: the allotment-order download deadline and the college-reporting deadline, by one day each.
  • Unchanged: the choice-filling and locking deadline of 9 October 2026, 5:00 PM.
  • Unchanged: the Round 3 result date of 12 October 2026.

AIQ Round 3 Candidates Will Be Removed

Candidates who have already joined a seat through All India Quota (AIQ) Round 3 will be removed from Tamil Nadu State Round 3 processing. Such candidates will not be considered in the state round.

What Candidates Should Do Now

  1. Lock only the choices you actually want before 5:00 PM on 9 October 2026, since locked choices are what get processed.
  2. Check the Round 3 result on 12 October 2026.
  3. Download the allotment order before 12:00 noon on 15 October 2026.
  4. Report to the allotted college before 5:00 PM on 15 October 2026.
  5. Keep your original documents ready
