Now, candidates can submit their online application form until May 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM. The original deadline was set for May 15, 2026. The latest update was published on May 5, 2026, following the initial notice that was released on April 11, 2026.
The entrance exam will be conducted from June 1, 2026, to June 13, 2026, in an online format at different test centers. This extra time will allow eligible students to apply for admission to various courses offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University. The SPPU OEE 2026 is held to provide admission to more than 100 courses across different faculties, such as science and technology, commerce and management, and humanities.

The application fee for SPPU OEE 2026 is ₹1,000 for applicants from the general category and ₹800 for those from reserved categories like SC, ST, and OBC. This fee can be paid online using methods such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. If someone is applying for more than one course, they need to pay separately for each program, and the fee cannot be refunded.
The exam for SPPU OEE 2026 will have a total of 100 marks and will last for 2 hours. Multiple-choice questions will be included, but some programs might also have descriptive questions. There is a penalty for incorrect answers, with 1/4th of a mark being deducted for each wrong response.
The question paper is divided into two sections.
- Section A includes topics like general knowledge, aptitude, logic, and comprehension and is worth 20 marks.
- Section B has subject-specific questions and is worth 80 marks. The final merit of applicants will be based on their overall score.
SPPU offers over 100 courses across various fields such as science, technology, commerce, management, humanities, and interdisciplinary studies. Some of the courses offered include M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, M.Com., MA, LL.M., B.Tech., BBA, BA Liberal Arts, and B.Voc.
For postgraduate courses, candidates must have a bachelor's degree, while undergraduate courses require a 10+2 qualification. The minimum percentage required for general category students is 50%, whereas for reserved category students, it is 45%. Students who are in their final year of studies are also eligible to apply. The reservation policy follows the norms set by the Government of Maharashtra.
This includes reserving 30% of seats for women in undergraduate programs, as well as providing reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Divyang/orphan/defense candidates. Candidates are required to upload their educational mark sheets, caste certificate, certificate of non-creamy layer, UDID certificate if applicable, and any other necessary documents. These original documents must be submitted during the admission process.
