SLS Noida SLAT 2026: Second List Important Dates
Aspirants whose names appear on the second merit list must act swiftly to secure their spot, as the admission window is narrow.
| Event | Date / Deadline |
|---|---|
| Release of Second Merit List | February 26, 2026 (Live Now) |
| Last Date for Fee Payment | March 04, 2026 |
| Commencement of Classes | July 2026 |
How to Check Your Selection Status
Selected candidates are advised to follow these steps to confirm their allotment:
- Visit the official SLS Noida portal: symlaw.edu.in.
- Navigate to the 'Admissions' tab and click on the link for 'Second Merit List - SLAT 2026'.
- Enter your SLAT ID and Password to log in.
- View your selection status and download the "Provisional Admission Offer Letter."
- Action Required: Follow the instructions for the online payment of the academic fees and the refundable security deposit.
Criteria for Merit Ranking
It is important for students to remember that the merit list is not based solely on the entrance exam score. SLS Noida uses a weighted average to ensure a diverse and capable student body:
- SLAT Score: 50% Weightage (Entrance performance).
- Personal Interaction (PI): 30% Weightage (Evaluation of confidence and law aptitude).
- Writing Ability Test (WAT): 20% Weightage (Evaluation of analytical and drafting skills).
The release of the second list indicates a slight movement in the cut-offs, allowing candidates who were previously on the waitlist to secure admission.
What Happens After Selection?
Once the fee is paid, candidates must upload digital copies of their Class 10 and 12 marksheets, transfer certificates, and migration certificates for final verification. If a candidate fails to pay the fee by the March 4 deadline, their seat will be automatically cancelled and offered to the next person on the waitlist in the Third Merit List, which is expected to be released in the second week of March.
