Shiv Nadar University begins SNUSAT 2026 intake with early-round deadlines through 31 March 2026

The Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Delhi-NCR, an Institution of Eminence, has opened the application window for the SNUSAT 2026 (Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test), kicking off the undergraduate admissions cycle. The process is structured into three Early Admission Round phases, with the final deadline for the early cycle set for March 31, 2026. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply in the earliest phases to maximize their chances of securing admission and potential scholarships for the B.Tech, BMS, B.A. (Research), and B.Sc. (Research) programs.

The admissions season for undergraduate programs at Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Delhi-NCR, is officially underway. The university is welcoming applications for the 2026–2027 academic session through its mandatory entrance test, SNUSAT 2026.

The institution has implemented a phased Early Admission Round to streamline the selection process and provide early clarity to high-achieving Class 12 students. This round is divided into three distinct phases, with the final application deadline for the entire early cycle concluding on March 31, 2026.

I. SNUSAT 2026 Early Admission Round Schedule

Candidates are advised to pay close attention to the staggered deadlines, as applying earlier offers the advantage of an early decision and better access to limited seats.

• Early Advantage: Securing an offer in Phase 1 or 2 allows students to confirm their admission months in advance, easing pressure during their final Class 12 board examinations.

II. Admission Pathways and Test Structure

SNU utilizes a comprehensive selection process, which includes the SNUSAT and, for specific programs, a subject-specific Academic Proficiency Test (APT).

• Admission Routes: Candidates can gain admission through multiple pathways:
  1. SNUSAT + APT: The primary entrance route.
  2. JEE Main: Students with a high percentile (typically 80+ percentile) may be exempt from the SNUSAT.
  3. SAT/ACT: Valid scores from the international SAT or ACT exams are also accepted.
  4. CUET: CUET scores may also be considered in combination with a screening form and Class 12 marks.
• SNUSAT & APT Exam Pattern:
  • SNUSAT (All Programs): A 90-minute or 120-minute Computer-Based Test (CBT) assessing Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Abstract Reasoning (and sometimes an Essay).
  • APT (B.Tech & B.Sc. Research): A separate one-hour test for specific programs (e.g., Physics and Mathematics for B.Tech.) to assess subject knowledge.
• Key Feature: There is no negative marking in the SNUSAT and APT exams, encouraging candidates to attempt all questions.

III. Undergraduate Programs on Offer

SNU offers a range of interdisciplinary and research-focused undergraduate programs across four schools:

• School of Engineering (SoE): B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
• School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SoME): Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), B.Sc. (Research) in Economics and Finance.
• School of Natural Sciences (SoNS): B.Sc. (Research) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology.
• School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SoHSS): B.A. (Research) in International Relations, English, History, etc.
