SEED 2026 Admit Card Download Window Continues Ahead of January 11 Online Exam

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) is currently facilitating the final phase of the admit card download process for the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2026. With the national-level entrance test scheduled for tomorrow, January 11, the online portal remains active for candidates to secure their hall tickets. This document is a mandatory requirement for appearing in the proctored design assessment, which serves as the gateway for admission into the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs.

Final Call for Admit Card Procurement

The download facility, which opened on January 5, is set to remain accessible until the commencement of the examination. Candidates are encouraged to complete the process today to ensure they have sufficient time to verify all printed information and prepare their testing environment.

• Accessing the Portal: Registered candidates must visit the official website, sid.edu.in, and use their B.Des ID and password to log in and retrieve the card.
• Verification Protocol: It is important to cross-check details such as the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, and the specific exam slot allotted for tomorrow's SEED session.
• Technical Assistance: Any discrepancies found on the hall ticket should be reported to the SID admission cell immediately for rectification before the exam window opens.
• Documentation: Candidates are advised to keep a clear color printout of the admit card alongside a valid government-issued photo ID for the identity verification process.

SEED 2026: Online Proctored Exam Structure

The SEED 2026 is being conducted as an online remote proctored test, allowing students to participate from their homes or a secure location. The test is designed to evaluate creative aptitude and technical foundation through a series of objective-type questions.

• Assessment Areas: The paper includes sections on visual sensitivity, observational abilities, perceptual reasoning, and general design awareness.
• System Requirements: As the test is proctored online, candidates must ensure their computer system is equipped with a functional webcam and a stable internet connection.
• Mock Test Reference: Following the mock test conducted on January 7, students are expected to be familiar with the interface and the remote proctoring regulations.

Conclusion

As the download window for the SEED 2026 hall ticket nears its conclusion, the focus shifts toward the execution of the online proctored exam on January 11. The Symbiosis Institute of Design has streamlined the digital distribution of the admit card to ensure all registered aspirants can participate seamlessly. Following the completion of the test, the next significant milestone in the admission cycle will be the declaration of results, scheduled for January 19, 2026. This will be followed by the shortlisting of candidates for the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) rounds later in the month.
