Ways to Pay and Installment Option
For all branches, RNSIT permits paying the fee in two parts. Civil engineering is the sole case where the complete amount is required at once. Payment can be made via cheque, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, or online transfer. The institute does not accept cash on campus under any circumstance. Those seeking funding may choose an EMI arrangement as well. This option is provided via the institute’s partner, GrayQuest. It lets families distribute the cost over multiple months.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed Class 12 or the 2nd PU exam. Admission requires physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects. In addition, one elective must be chosen from chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, biology, or electronics. Admission also requires a valid entrance test score. RNSIT considers Karnataka CET, COMEDK, and JEE Main results. Alternatively, candidates may appear for the institute’s RNSAT exam.
Scholarships on Merit for Management-Quota Students
Merit scholarships are available at RNSIT for those admitted through the management quota. The benefit is adjusted against the yearly fee payable. To keep the scholarship each year, students need to sustain a specified minimum CGPA.
Admission Document Checklist
At the time of admission, applicants must bring a specified collection of documents. Students from Karnataka must provide the SSLC card, PUC card, and entrance-rank card. They are also required to submit a transfer certificate and a seven-year study certificate. A copy of Aadhaar and five passport-size photos are required too. Students from outside Karnataka must provide the identical documents. Instead of the study certificate, they must provide a migration certificate.
