Eligibility and Exam Structure

The NLSAT-LLB is designed for graduates across all disciplines, providing a pathway for diverse academic backgrounds to enter the legal profession.

  • Academic Requirements: A Bachelor's degree with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS categories).
  • Final Year Students: Those in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of completion by December 31, 2026.
  • Dual-Stage Test: The 150-minute exam consists of Part A (Objective) and Part B (Subjective). Part B is only evaluated for those who meet the cutoff in Part A.
