This is it. After weeks of uncertainty, the National Testing Agency will finally conduct the re-examination of NEET UG 2026 tomorrow, June 21, deciding admissions to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programs for over 22.01 lakh candidates across the country. NTA has one clear message right now — download your admit card only from neet.nta.nic.in, and don't trust anything else floating around on WhatsApp or social media.
A Quick Reminder of Why We're Even Here
- NEET UG 2026 was originally held on May 3
- Reports of an MBBS question paper leak forced NTA to scrap that exam entirely on May 12
- The case is now with the CBI for investigation
- So tomorrow isn't just another exam day — for over 22 lakh students, it's a second shot at something they'd already prepared hard for once
The Security Has Been Ramped Up, and It Shows
- Telegram remains blocked until June 21 to protect exam integrity
- Fresh rules introduced on dress code, permitted items, and biometric checks at the gate
- Exam pattern and syllabus stay the same
- Centres will see tighter frisking and stricter security than before
Timing Matters — Note This Carefully
- Single shift: 2 pm to 5:15 pm
- PwD/PwBD candidates: exam runs till 6:20 pm, with an extra 1 hour 5 minutes of compensatory time
The Scale of Tomorrow's Exam
- Nearly 5,400 centres across 565 cities
- 551 cities in India, 14 abroad
- A full mock drill was conducted today at over 5,500 centres, testing:
- CCTV coverage
- Security arrangements
- Safe transportation of question papers
- A clear sign NTA is leaving nothing to chance this time
About Your Admit Card — This One's Important
- Already downloaded it recently? You're set — no need to download again
- Still have your May 3 admit card? Don't carry it — it's invalid now
- Many exam centres have changed, so only the revised admit card works
- Before tonight ends, double-check three things on it:
- Your exam centre
- Reporting time
- Roll number
Getting Your Admit Card — Step by Step
- Go to neet.nta.nic.in
- Scroll down and click the re-exam admit card link
- Log in with your application number and password
- Your hall ticket appears on screen
- Check every detail carefully, then download it
What to Actually Carry Tomorrow
- Admit card

Keep it simple — nothing more, nothing less.
The Exam Itself
- 180 questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- 720 total marks
- +4 for every correct answer
- −1 for every wrong answer
- 0 for anything left blank
One more night, one more checklist, and then it's finally exam day. You've got this.
