The National Testing Agency (NTA) has moved the Re-NEET 2026 exam centre in Prayagraj. This change applies only to candidates who were originally assigned to the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre. This centre is located within the campus of the University of Allahabad. NTA announced this change on June 19, 2026. The Re-NEET 2026 exam is set for June 21, 2026. The official notice was posted on the NTA website at neet.nta.nic.in. New Re-NEET 2026 Exam Venue in Prayagraj

The new exam location is the Department of Medieval and Modern History, situated at the Senate House Campus of the University of Allahabad. Both the old and new venues are located within the same university area in Prayagraj. Candidates who were assigned to other Prayagraj centres are not affected. They should still go to their original assigned venues as planned. This change is only for those who were assigned to the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre.

Why Was the Prayagraj Centre Changed?

NTA made this decision based on suggestions from the local district administration. The original venue had ongoing construction work on the site. Additionally, electricity was not available at the venue on the day of the exam. A district-level committee suggested an alternative site within the university. NTA agreed with this recommendation to ensure the exam could take place smoothly. The change was decided just two days before the exam date.

How to Download the Updated Re-NEET 2026 Admit Card

NTA has issued new admit cards for all affected candidates. These updated cards have the new venue address. Candidates can download their fresh cards by entering their login details.

  1. Visit the official NEET portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Re-NEET 2026 admit card download link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  4. Submit the details and view the updated admit card.
  5. Download the admit card and make a clear printout for the exam.

What If You Already Have the Old Admit Card?

Candidates with the old admit card will still be allowed entry. Exam centre staff will check your identity before letting you in. However, NTA strongly recommends downloading the new admit card. The new card has the correct address and prevents confusion. Check your name, photograph, roll number, and reporting time on the new card. Report any discrepancies immediately through the NTA helpline.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to neet.nta.nic.in and download your new admit card.
  • Check the new venue name and full address on the admit card.
  • Plan your route to the Senate House Campus in advance.
  • Bring the printed admit card along with one valid photo identity document.
  • Reach the new centre well before the reporting time on June 21, 2026.
