Steps to Change Your Present Address and Preferred Cities:

  • Visit the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  • Log in using your registration number and password.
  • On the homepage, click on the option called "Present Address and Exam City Updation."
  • If your current address is different from the one you provided in your NEET application, update it.
  • Also, select two preferred exam cities from the list provided.
  • Once you have made all the changes, review the details you entered and then submit the form.

Which Information Can You Change?

Candidates can update their present address if they have relocated since submitting their NEET application. They can also choose up to two preferred exam cities. The available cities for selection will depend on the candidate’s current and permanent addresses. It is important to select cities that are easily reachable for the exam.

Key Points to Note

This is your one-time chance to update your details. Any changes made after May 21, 2026, will not be accepted. Your assigned exam city will appear on your admit card. The city intimation letter will be available after May 20, but your admit card will be issued starting June 14. It is very important to make sure your address is correct, as this information might be used for future communications. Choose exam cities that are easy to reach and update your details well in advance.

Why Is This Relevant?

Your selected exam city is where you will take the test. Choosing a convenient city can help you avoid long travel during the exam. Your current address is also important because it will be used to send future messages and updates related to the exam and admission process.

After May 21

Once the update period is over, your exam city will be finalized. The city intimation letter will show the selected exam city. The admit card with all the details will be available by June 14, and you must go to the exam center on June 21, 2026, with your admit card.
