Punjab NEET PG 2025: Stray Round Reporting Timeline
Candidates who have been successfully allotted a seat in this round must act with extreme speed, as the time window for joining is historically very narrow during the stray vacancy phase.

|---|---|
| Allotment Result Release | February 27, 2026 (Live Now) |
| Physical Reporting & Document Verification | Feb 28 – March 02, 2026 |
| Last Date for Fee Submission | March 02, 2026 (By 04:00 PM) |
| Venue for Reporting | Allotted Medical College / BFUHS Office |
Key Highlights of the Allotment Results
The qualification of 143 candidates in this round is a significant development, as stray rounds are often unpredictable.
- Clinical vs. Non-Clinical: The majority of the 143 qualified candidates have been allotted seats in para-clinical and non-clinical branches, though a few prized clinical seats in private medical colleges were also filled.
- Merit-Based Selection: BFUHS has emphasized that the allotment was done strictly on the basis of the NEET PG 2025 All India Rank (AIR) and the preferences submitted during the stray round registration.
- Seat Blocking Prevention: Candidates who were already holding a seat in previous rounds were ineligible for this list, ensuring that these 143 seats go to previously unallotted aspirants.
Mandatory Documentation for Joining
Since this is the final round, there is no room for administrative errors. Candidates must carry:
- NEET PG 2025 Scorecard and Admit Card.
- MBBS Degree and All Professional Marksheets.
- Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate (dated before the cutoff).
- Punjab State Domicile Certificate (for those claiming state-quota benefits).
- Six Passport-sized Photographs (identical to the one uploaded on the NBE portal).
What After the Final Allotment?
With the conclusion of this stray round on March 2, the 2025 admission cycle in Punjab will be formally closed. For those 143 candidates, the journey as "Junior Residents" begins this month. For those who did not make the list, the focus must shift entirely to NEET PG 2026. Experts suggest that the next cycle may see a tighter normalization process, making it essential for aspirants to focus on high-yield clinical subjects like Medicine, Surgery, and OBG from day one.
