Punjab NEET MDS 2025: BFUHS Releases Revised Schedule for Stray Vacancy Round

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released a crucial revised schedule for the online stray vacancy round of counselling for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. This announcement comes as a final call for all eligible NEET MDS 2025 qualified candidates to fill the remaining vacant seats in various dental colleges across Punjab. This round is particularly significant as it offers a last-chance opportunity for aspirants who have not yet secured a seat in the previous rounds of counselling. It is important to note that seat upgradation is not permitted in this final phase.

The revised schedule provides a clear and organized timeline for aspirants to complete the necessary steps. According to the BFUHS notification, the online registration and application period, which began on August 21, 2025, will close on August 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM. During this same period, candidates must also submit their willingness to participate along with the required security deposit. The security deposit is set at ₹25,000 for government colleges (or ₹10,000 for SC/BC/PwD candidates) and ₹2,00,000 for private colleges.
