The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released a crucial revised schedule for the online stray vacancy round of counselling for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. This announcement comes as a final call for all eligible NEET MDS 2025 qualified candidates to fill the remaining vacant seats in various dental colleges across Punjab. • Fresh Registrations & Security Deposits: The last date to complete online registration and submit the security deposit is August 25, 2025.
• Provisional Merit List: The provisional merit list will be displayed on August 27, 2025, allowing candidates to check their ranks and eligibility for the next step.
• Choice Filling & Locking: The window for online choice filling and locking will be open from August 28, 2025, to August 29, 2025. This is a critical step where candidates must carefully select and prioritize their preferred colleges and specialties.
• Seat Allotment Result: The result for the stray vacancy round will be displayed on September 3, 2025.
• Reporting to Colleges: Provisionally selected candidates must pay the remaining balance fee and report to their allotted colleges for document verification and admission between September 4, 2025, and September 8, 2025.

The university has emphasized that candidates applying under specific quotas, such as Sikh or Christian minority, must report to their respective institutions for document verification by August 26, 2025. Similarly, PCMS incentive category candidates must submit their No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to the university by the same deadline.
