• Academic Session: Successful candidates will commence their classes on July 1, 2026.

Eligibility and Seat Matrix Overview

• Academic Qualification: Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD).

NLSAT Exam Pattern and Selection Stages

The NLSAT 2026 is a single-paper exam divided into two distinct parts, testing both objective aptitude and subjective analytical skills.

• Part A (75 Marks): An objective section covering English Comprehension, Current Affairs, and Critical Reasoning with a negative marking of 0.25 for wrong or unattempted questions.
• Part B (75 Marks): A subjective section consisting of legal reasoning questions and one analytical essay, evaluated only for those who clear the Part A cutoff.
