Core Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum three years duration) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university.
- Aspirants in their Final Year of graduation are also eligible to apply. If selected, their admission will be provisional, subject to submitting proof of passing the graduation degree with the required minimum marks by October 1, 2026.
- Mandatory Entrance Score: All applicants must have a valid score in one of the following all-India entrance exams:
- CAT 2025
- XAT 2026
- A valid GMAT score (test taken between January 1, 2024, and January 31, 2026).
The Selection Procedure: A Holistic Approach
FORE School of Management employs a meticulous three-stage selection process to evaluate a candidate's holistic profile, beyond just the test score.
- Shortlisting: Initial shortlisting is done based on the candidate's valid CAT/XAT/GMAT score and their past academic records. The percentile cutoff generally remains competitive for the flagship PGDM program.
- Individual Assessment: Shortlisted candidates are called for an Individual Assessment, which includes an Extempore (an impromptu speech) and a Personal Interview (PI). This stage assesses a candidate's communication skills, general awareness, subject knowledge, attitude, clarity of thought, and overall suitability for a management career.
- Final Selection: The final merit list for admission is prepared using a composite score that assigns weightage to multiple parameters. This includes the Entrance Exam Score (around 35% weightage), Extempore & PI performance, Past Academic Performance (Class 10, 12, and Graduation), Quality of Work Experience, Regional Diversity, and Gender Diversity.
Management aspirants are advised to keep their application materials ready and submit their form soon. For regular updates, follow Only Education News to track any changes or announcements in the admission schedule.
