The final Allotment Result is scheduled for December 23, 2025, with reporting extending into January 2026. FMGs must complete the online application, submit all required NMC documents, and utilize the six-day window for choice filling based on their FMGE Score and available seats.

The Madhya Pradesh Medical Council (MPMC) has officially released the Notice and Tentative Time Schedule for the FMG Clinical Clerkship/Internship Counselling (June-2025) session. This long-awaited notification is a crucial step for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who have qualified for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and seek to complete their mandatory Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) in medical colleges across Madhya Pradesh. The entire process, which is being conducted in a single round, is highly streamlined and time-bound. With online registration already underway, FMGs must act swiftly to secure a seat, as the allotment is strictly based on FMGE Score and choices filled, subject to the availability of seats in NMC-approved institutions in the state.
I. The Non-Negotiable Time Schedule for FMG Counselling
The MPMC has laid out a clear, detailed calendar for the entire internship allotment process, emphasizing the urgency of timely completion at every stage.
- Online Registration and Form Editing: This initial phase is mandatory for all eligible candidates who wish to participate in the counselling.
- Duration: December 3 to December 14, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM). This provides a 12-day window for registration and form edits.
- Publication of Vacancies/Seats: Candidates must wait for the final Seat Chart to understand the available options before filling choices.
- Final Vacancies Publication:December 12, 2025. This date follows a three-day period for objection invitation and disposal.
- Merit List and Choice Filling: The state merit list determines the order of allotment, and the choice filling is the most strategic step.
- Publication of Merit List:December 15, 2025. Merit is based on the FMGE Score, with the older candidate prioritized in case of a tie.
- Choice Filling and Locking:December 16 to December 21, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM). A dedicated 6-day period for candidates to meticulously list their college preferences.
- Allotment and Reporting: The final stages confirm the seat and require physical joining.
- Allotment Result:December 23, 2025.
- Reporting at Allotted Medical College:December 24, 2025, to January 8, 2026 (up to 05:00 PM). A generous 16-day window for verification and admission.
II. Eligibility Criteria and Mandatory Documentation
Participation in the MPMC FMG Internship Counselling is strictly governed by the NMC and MPMC rules. Candidates must meet all specified eligibility and documentation requirements.
- FMG Eligibility: The counselling is primarily for FMGE-qualified (passed) candidates from the June 2025 session.
- Previous Batches: FMGs who qualified in previous sessions (like June 2024 and December 2024) and have not yet secured or participated in the internship allotment are also eligible to apply for the June 2025 session.
- 2017 Batch Rule: Foreign Medical Graduates who took admission in 2017 or thereafter and did not get an allotment in the December 2024 counselling are eligible.
- The Affidavit Requirement: Every candidate must submit an Original Affidavit (Format 'A') as published on the official portal, along with their application. This is a mandatory component for joining.
- Essential Documents Checklist: Key documents required for upload during registration and verification during reporting include:
- Eligibility Certificate from NMC.
- MBBS Degree or equivalent degree.
- FMGE Certificate/Screening Test Passing Certificate.
- 10th Marksheet (as proof of Date of Birth).
- MP State Domicile Certificate (where applicable for preference).
III. NMC Guidelines and Internship Duration Rules
The Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) is regulated by the NMC's 2021 regulations, which stipulate the duration and conditions for FMGs.
- Standard Internship Duration: The mandatory duration of the CRMI is 12 months (one year) and must be completed at a medical college or institution approved/recognised by the NMC.
- CRMI Deadline: The entire internship must be completed within two years of passing the FMGE (or NExT when it becomes operational).
- Extended Internship Duration: The internship period may be extended up to 24 or 36 months for certain FMGs, particularly those whose foreign medical course involved a significant portion of online classes during the final or penultimate year, as per the NMC Public Notice dated December 7, 2023. FMGs must clarify their required internship duration with the MPMC based on their academic record.
- No Fees, Stipend Mandatory: Institutions are prohibited from charging any fee for the internship. Furthermore, FMG interns are entitled to receive a stipend equivalent to that paid to Indian Medical Graduates (IMGs) in the respective state.
The commencement of the MPMC FMG Internship Counselling (June-2025) offers a critical window of opportunity for Foreign Medical Graduates to commence their final year of mandatory clinical training. Given that the entire process is being conducted in a single, merit-cum-choice-based round with strict adherence to deadlines, time management is paramount. All eligible FMGs must complete their online registration and document submission on the MPMC portal before the December 14, 2025, deadline, meticulously prepare their choice list based on the vacancies published on December 12th, and be ready to report to the allotted college immediately after the December 23rd result.
