Today, August 1, 2025, marks an active and crucial period for thousands of aspiring B.Design and B.Arch students in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell continues its Round 1 Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for MAH AAC CET 2025, specifically for the online seat acceptance and physical reporting at allotted institutes.
The provisional seat allotment for Round 1 was published on July 30, 2025. Following this, candidates who have been allotted a seat now have a critical window to confirm their admission or opt for better opportunities in subsequent rounds. This process is essential for securing a place in various prestigious Architecture and Design colleges across the state.
Crucial Dates and Process for Seat Acceptance and Reporting:
The timeline for these critical steps is as follows:
- Online Acceptance of Allotted Seat (via Candidate Login): July 31, 2025, to August 4, 2025 (up to 5:00 PM)
- Reporting to the Allotted Institute & Confirmation of Admission: July 31, 2025, to August 4, 2025 (between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
Key Steps for Candidates:
- Online Seat Acceptance:
- Log in to the official MAH AAC CET CAP portal using your credentials.
- Upon viewing your provisional allotment, you will have two options:
- "Freeze": If you are satisfied with the allotted seat (especially if it's your first preference) and do not wish to participate in further rounds, you must select "Freeze." This option implies final acceptance of the seat.
- "Betterment": If you are allotted a seat that is not your first preference but you wish to try for a more preferred college in subsequent rounds while retaining your current allotted seat, you should choose "Betterment."
- After selecting your option, you must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee online. Failure to pay this fee will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat, and you will not be considered for subsequent rounds.
- Physical Reporting to Allotted Institute:
- After completing the online seat acceptance and fee payment, candidates must physically report to their provisionally allotted college within the specified dates (July 31 to August 4, 2025).
- During reporting, all original documents will be verified. Confirmation of admission will only be granted upon successful document verification and payment of the college's admission fees.
