The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued a final, strict deadline for all candidates who secured a seat in the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 Round 3 (Mop-Up Round) allotment. Aspirants for MBBS and BDS courses must complete all admission formalities, including fee payment, downloading the admission order, and physically reporting to their allotted college with all original documents, no later than 5:30 PM on December 11, 2025. Failure to meet this critical deadline will result in the immediate and automatic cancellation of the provisional admission, leading to the forfeiture of the seat and potentially the caution deposit. This is the last and most critical step for candidates to secure their dream medical seat.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has delivered a crucial and non-negotiable directive to all medical and dental aspirants who have been successfully allocated a seat in the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Final Seat Allotment (often referred to as the Mop-Up Round). The final deadline for completing the admission process is Wednesday, December 11, 2025, by 5:30 PM. This announcement follows a significant process, including the release of a revised provisional list as per the Hon'ble Karnataka High Court’s order, ensuring fairness and transparency in the allocation of additional and surrendered seats.

For thousands of aspirants, this date marks the culmination of their intense preparation and the start of their journey in medical or dental college. Missing this deadline, however, will be an irreversible mistake, as failure to report by the specified time will lead to the automatic cancellation of the coveted seat, with no further opportunity for reinstatement. Given the high stakes, every detail of the reporting procedure must be followed with meticulous care and urgency. This is the last window for admission for the current academic year, making adherence to the deadline paramount.

Key Dates and Critical Deadlines for Aspirants

The KEA has laid out a strict, sequenced schedule that candidates must follow before the final reporting deadline. These steps are mandatory and time-bound, reflecting the seriousness of this last round of counselling. The final seat allotment was released on December 8, 2025, and the subsequent activities must be completed immediately.

  • Payment of Fees:
    • The window for fee payment (after deducting any medical course fee deposit already paid) was from December 8, 2025, to December 10, 2025. This step is a prerequisite for generating the final admission order.
    • Candidates must ensure the full requisite fee is transferred and confirmed by the university/college before attempting to report.
  • Downloading the Admission Order:
    • Candidates who have successfully paid the required fees can download the seat confirmation slip/admission order from the KEA official website from December 8, 2025, to December 11, 2025.
    • This document is essential proof of allotment and must be carried to the college.
  • Final Reporting to the Allotted College:
    • The absolute last date for physically reporting to the allotted MBBS/BDS college is December 11, 2025, by 5:30 PM. No excuses for delay, including logistical or travel issues, will be entertained by the college authorities or KEA.

Mandatory Checklist for College Reporting

Aspirants must arrive at the allotted institution fully prepared for the final physical verification and admission. Any missing or incomplete document can lead to rejection and subsequent cancellation of the admission. The process at the college involves two key components: Document Verification and Admission Formalities.

  • Original Documents and Copies:
    • Carry all original academic documents, including NEET UG 2025 admit card, NEET Scorecard, Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
    • Ensure the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 Verification Slip is on hand.
    • Carry the downloaded and printed Seat Confirmation Slip/Admission Order from the KEA portal.
    • Bring the original Caste/Category/Income certificate (if applicable) and a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card).
    • Crucially, two sets of attested photocopies of all original documents must be ready.
  • Administrative Requirements:
    • The mobile phone registered during the application process must be active, as an OTP (One-Time Password) may be required for the final verification at the college.
    • A sufficient number of passport-size photographs (at least 6-8) is required for college records.
    • Candidates must also be ready to submit the final fee receipt as proof of payment.

Consequences of Non-Compliance: The Finality of Round 3

Aspirants should understand that the Round 3 or Mop-Up allotment is generally the final stage of the counselling process for the academic year 2025. The rules for this round are exceptionally stringent, and there is no provision for future appeal or further rounds for the surrendered seats after this deadline.

  • Automatic Cancellation: Failure to report by the 5:30 PM deadline on December 11, 2025, for any reason, will result in the immediate and irrevocable cancellation of the allotted seat.
  • Forfeiture of Fee: Candidates risk the forfeiture of their initial caution deposit and other non-refundable payments made during the counselling process if they fail to complete the admission.
  • Zero Upgrade/Choice Option: Since this is the final round, there is no option to choose a different seat or participate in any subsequent upgrade process. The allotted seat is the final offer.

This is a monumental moment in your academic career. Do not delay your reporting and ensure every document is in order to successfully secure your medical seat.
