The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has commenced the Stray Vacancy Round 1 (SVR-1) of the AYUSH NEET UG 2025 Counselling, offering a final crucial opportunity for aspirants to secure admission to undergraduate courses like BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BNYS. This round is specifically designed to fill seats that remained unallocated after the completion of the All-India Quota (AIQ) Mop-Up rounds across Government, Government-aided, National Institutes, Central Universities, and Deemed Universities. This marks the culmination of the centralised admission process for the AYUSH stream.

Key Dates and Deadlines

Aspirants must act swiftly as the window for registration and choice filling is extremely short. The registration and choice filling for the first stray vacancy round is open only until November 5, 2025. Candidates must visit the official AACCC portal, aaccc.gov.in, to complete their registration and submit their preferences before the deadline.

ActivityDate (2025)
Registration and Choice Filling (Deadline)November 5
Processing of Seat AllotmentNovember 6 to November 7
Seat Allotment ResultNovember 8
Reporting to Allotted InstitutesNovember 10 to November 17
Data Verification of Joined CandidatesNovember 18 to November 19

The seat allotment process will be conducted centrally by the AACCC on November 6 and 7, 2025. The results will be officially announced on November 8, 2025. This result will determine the final fate of many aspirants seeking admission into the AYUSH stream.

Reporting and Admission Formalities

Candidates who are successfully allotted a seat in SVR-1 must complete their admission formalities by reporting to their respective designated institutes between November 10 and November 17, 2025. Failure to report within this stipulated period will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat. This physical reporting phase involves document verification and payment of the necessary admission fees to finalise the enrolment. Subsequent to the reporting period, the AACCC will conduct data verification of all joined candidates on November 18 and 19, 2025, to ensure all admissions are properly recorded.

Who is Eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round?

The stray vacancy round is typically open to candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG 2025 examination and meet the minimum eligibility criteria but have not yet been allotted or held any seat in the previous rounds of AACCC or State/UT counselling. Candidates who exited earlier rounds—including those who opted for a "Free Exit" after Round 1 or forfeited their seats before Round 3—may also be eligible to re-register and participate, often requiring a fresh payment of the full counselling fee (registration fee and security deposit). This round is non-upgradable and serves as the absolute final chance for admission through the centralised counselling process.

A second Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-2) is also scheduled to begin on November 20, 2025, in case any seats remain vacant even after SVR-1, with a separate reporting schedule to follow.

Aspirants are strongly advised to keep checking the official AACCC website for regular updates and detailed information regarding eligibility, fee structure, and the seat matrix. For regular updates, follow Only Education News to ensure you don't miss out on this last admission opportunity.
