AIIMS INI CET January 2026 Round 2 Online Acceptance and Reporting Ongoing
AIIMS begins Round 2 online seat acceptance for INI CET January 2026 session. Allocated candidates must report and upload documents by January 15, 2026.

Following the declaration of the Round 2 seat allotment results on January 9, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has officially activated the online acceptance and reporting portal for the INI CET January 2026 session. Candidates who have been allocated seats in postgraduate courses such as MD, MS, MCh (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS across various Institutes of National Importance (INIs) are now required to complete their mandatory formalities. The window for seat acceptance and document submission is strictly scheduled to conclude on January 15, 2026, by 5:00 PM.
Mandatory Online Acceptance and Choices
Candidates must log in to the "MyPage" portal using their credentials to signify their decision regarding the allotted seat. Unlike the first round, the second round offers limited options for further upgrades, as it is often the penultimate stage for many specialities. Those who have been allotted a seat for the first time or whose seat was upgraded from Round 1 must actively choose to accept the allocation to remain eligible for the admission process.
Failure to exercise the acceptance option within the stipulated timeline will lead to the immediate cancellation of the allotted seat. Furthermore, such candidates will be barred from participating in any further institutional preference rounds. For those who were already holding a seat from the previous stage and received an upgrade, the earlier seat is automatically vacated and re-allocated, making it mandatory to move to the newly allotted institute.
- Online Acceptance Window: January 10 to January 15, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).
- Reporting Period: Physical reporting and document verification must be completed by January 15.
- Security Deposit: Candidates must ensure the requisite deposit is paid as per the allotment letter instructions.
- Penalty Clause: Non-joining after acceptance in this round may attract a penalty of up to INR 3,00,000.
Reporting and Document Verification Protocol
Once the seat is accepted online, candidates are required to report to the allotted AIIMS campus or other participating INIs like JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST. This phase involves a rigorous verification of original academic and professional credentials. Candidates must carry their INI CET 2026 admit card, rank card, and the official allotment letter along with their MBBS/BDS degree certificates and internship completion proof.
Document Type | Verification Requirement |
INI CET Allotment Letter | Downloaded from the official portal after acceptance |
MBBS/BDS Degree | Original certificate or Provisional degree |
Internship Certificate | Completion must be on or before Jan 30, 2026 |
Registration Certificate | Permanent/Provisional NMC or State Council registration |
Category Certificate | Valid OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD certificate (if applicable) |
Conclusion
As the January 15 deadline for the INI CET January 2026 session approaches, candidates are advised to complete their online acceptance as early as possible to avoid last-minute technical congestion on the server. The current round is a critical juncture for medical graduates aiming for specialization in premier government institutes. Following the conclusion of this reporting phase, AIIMS will evaluate the remaining vacancies to determine the feasibility of an Open Round or Spot Admission, ensuring that all available seats for the 2026 session are optimally utilized before the academic term fully stabilizes.
