DME Gujarat Begins Round 1 Allotment and Reporting for BAMS, BHMS Admissions
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has commenced the first online round of allotment and reporting for admissions into BAMS and BHMS courses, with over 6,000 seats available for aspirants.

In a significant update for medical aspirants in Gujarat, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has officially started the Round 1 allotment and reporting process for admissions to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) courses. This phase is crucial for all eligible candidates included in the merit list of ACPUGMEC for admission to Government, Management, and NRI seats.
According to the official announcement, candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the online payment of tuition fees by September 15, 2025. Following this, the physical reporting and original document submission at the designated Help Centres will take place from September 11, 2025, to September 16, 2025. Aspirants are advised to adhere strictly to this schedule to secure their admission.
The provisional seat matrix for Round 1 shows a total of 6,483 vacant seats across BAMS and BHMS courses. Of these, 2,850 seats are in Ayurvedic colleges and 3,633 seats are in Homeopathic colleges.
