The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has issued a final, non-negotiable deadline for all candidates provisionally allotted seats in the Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 CAP Round 3 for MBBS and BDS courses. Today, November 4, 2025, until 5:30 PM, is the absolute last date for candidates to complete the physical joining process, submit all original documents, and pay the requisite fees at their assigned medical or dental colleges.

Aspirants who have been allocated a seat in this critical round must prioritize reaching their respective institutes immediately to secure their admission. Failure to report and complete the formalities by the deadline will result in the automatic forfeiture of the seat. For regular updates follow Only Education News.

Crucial Action Points for Today

The Round 3 Selection List was declared on October 30, 2025, making today the final day of the reporting window. Candidates must ensure they complete the following three critical tasks:

  1. Physical Reporting: Candidates must personally visit the allotted college. This is mandatory for seat confirmation.
  2. Document Verification: All original documents submitted during the application process must be presented for physical verification by the college authorities. Any discrepancy will lead to cancellation.
  3. Fee Payment & Status Retention: The balance of the first-year tuition fee must be paid, and the Status Retention Form must be signed and submitted to the college. This form indicates a candidate's final acceptance of the seat.

Key Documents to Carry (Mandatory):

  • Provisional Allotment Letter (Downloaded from the official website).
  • NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Result.
  • Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets/Certificates.
  • Maharashtra Domicile Certificate.
  • Valid Photo ID Proof.
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in the prescribed format and issued by the competent authority.
  • Proof of Fee Payment (Security Deposit and Readiness for Tuition Fee).

Implications of Missing the November 4th Deadline

The finality of CAP Round 3 means there is virtually no second chance for admission in the major allotment stages. The consequences of not completing the admission today are severe:

  • Seat Cancellation: The provisionally allotted MBBS/BDS seat will be automatically cancelled.
  • Forfeiture of Security Deposit: The initial security deposit paid during the registration will be forfeited by the CET Cell.
  • Exclusion from Further Rounds: According to counselling rules, candidates who are allotted a seat in CAP Round 3, irrespective of whether they join or not, are generally not eligible for subsequent rounds, including the Stray Vacancy Round. This means today's admission decision is final and binding for the 2025-26 academic year.

Aspirants must race against the clock to fulfill all institutional requirements before the 5:30 PM deadline today, November 4, 2025, to confirm their MBBS or BDS seat in Maharashtra.
