A total of 17,870 candidates appeared for the examination. All the candidates can now access their rank cards through the official portal of the Council. Candidates must go to ecet.tgche.ac.in to access and finally download their results.
The result announcement provides an important milestone for diploma and B.Sc (Mathematics) degree holders seeking lateral entry into engineering and pharmacy programs. Qualified candidates will now proceed toward the counselling process scheduled for June 2026.
TS Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year for lateral entry admissions to second-year B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharm programs. The examination was conducted on May 15, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple examination centers.
The ranking system follows specific guidelines where candidates are ranked based on marks obtained in the examination. To qualify for the examination, general and other backward class (OBC) category candidates need a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 marks (25% qualifying percentage). SC and ST candidates have no minimum qualifying marks criteria. Based on previous year data from 2025, girls outperformed boys with a 95.81% qualifying percentage compared to 92.71% for boys.
