A total of 17,870 candidates appeared for the examination. All the candidates can now access their rank cards through the official portal of the Council. Candidates must go to ecet.tgche.ac.in  to access and finally download their results.

The result announcement provides an important milestone for diploma and B.Sc (Mathematics) degree holders seeking lateral entry into engineering and pharmacy programs. Qualified candidates will now proceed toward the counselling process scheduled for June 2026. 

TS Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET)  is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year for lateral entry admissions to second-year B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharm programs. The examination was conducted on May 15, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple examination centers. 

The ranking system follows specific guidelines where candidates are ranked based on marks obtained in the examination. In the case of tie-break systems, mathematics marks are considered first, followed by physics and chemistry marks respectively. Elder candidates receive priority if all marks remain equal.

How to download TS ECET 2026 Rank Card? 

• Candidates can access and download their rank cards by visiting the official website ecet.tgche.ac.in .
• The process requires entering hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth as registered during application.
• After submission, the rank card displaying subject-wise marks, total marks obtained in the exam, and the qualifying status will appear on screen. 
• Students should download the PDF and take multiple printouts for future reference during counselling and admission procedures. 
• The rank card is compulsory for participating in the counselling process and completing the document verification.

The rank card contains essential information including candidate's full name, hall ticket number, father's name, date of birth, category, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, overall rank, category-wise rank, and qualifying status. Candidates must verify all the details carefully and report any discrepancies to authorities immediately. 

To qualify for the examination, general and other backward class (OBC) category candidates need a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 marks (25% qualifying percentage). SC and ST candidates have no minimum qualifying marks criteria. Based on previous year data from 2025, girls outperformed boys with a 95.81% qualifying percentage compared to 92.71% for boys.
