Odisha NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule Revised; Choice Filling Underway

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEE Board) has revised the schedule for Round 1 of Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026. Eligible candidates can now fill and lock their preferences for MBBS and BDS seats through the official website, ojee.nic.in. The counselling process covers 85% state quota seats in medical and dental colleges across Odisha. Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), to participate.

Who Is Eligible for Odisha NEET UG Counselling?

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
• Must satisfy the applicable Odisha domicile requirements for state quota seats.
• Odisha state quota MBBS and BDS seats are primarily available to eligible candidates from the state.
• Candidates from other states can apply for eligible NRI quota seats, subject to the applicable rules.
• Candidates must fulfil the category and eligibility conditions prescribed by the OJEE Board.

How to Fill Choices for Odisha NEET UG Round 1

Candidates can complete the choice-filling process online through the OJEE portal.

1. Visit ojee.nic.in.
2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 Counselling Login link.
3. Log in using your registered application number and password.
4. Open the choice-filling section.
5. Check the available MBBS and BDS seats through the seat matrix.
6. Select your preferred colleges and courses.
7. Arrange the choices in your preferred order.
8. Review the complete list carefully.
9. Lock the choices before 11:59 PM on August 17.
10. Download and save the confirmation page.
11. Candidates should carefully review their preference order before locking their choices.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

The Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on August 22 at 11:30 AM through the OJEE portal.

Candidates who receive a seat must:

1. Log in to the counselling portal.
2. Download the Round 1 seat allotment letter.
3. Check the allotted college and course details.
4. Report to the assigned college within the specified reporting period.
5. Carry all required original documents for verification.

Candidates must report between August 23 and August 28, 2026. Failure to report within the deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat. Vacant seats may subsequently be offered in the next counselling round.
