Odisha NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Registration Ends Today; Merit List on Sept 13

In a crucial and time-sensitive update for all medical and dental aspirants, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has confirmed that the online registration for Round 2 of the Odisha NEET Counselling 2025 will close at 11:59 PM today, September 11. This is the final opportunity for qualified candidates to register and participate in the second phase of admissions to MBBS and BDS courses across the state. This round is particularly significant for students who either did not secure a seat in the first round or are looking to upgrade their previously allotted colleges and courses.

The meticulous counselling process, which is being conducted in a phased manner, aims to ensure transparency and efficiency. Following the conclusion of today's registration, the committee will begin the data reconciliation and verification process on September 12. The much-awaited revised provisional merit list for Round 2 will then be officially published on September 13, 2025. Aspirants are advised to keep a close watch on the official website, ojee.nic.in, as this list will determine their eligibility and ranking for the subsequent stages of the counselling.

The subsequent schedule for the counselling process has also been meticulously planned to provide a clear roadmap for students. The choice-filling and locking window is set to open from September 15 to September 17. During this period, candidates will have the opportunity to fill in their preferences for colleges and courses. This is a vital step, as a well-thought-out preference list can significantly impact a student’s chances of securing their desired seat. The provisional seat allotment result will be announced on September 18, allowing candidates to view their assigned college. Following this, the institute reporting and physical admission process will take place from September 21 to September 25.

For aspirants, this period is a whirlwind of deadlines and critical decisions. Missing any of these key dates could lead to a loss of a seat, making it essential to be organized and prepared. The OJEE has also provided clear guidelines for students to raise any queries related to the provisional allotment, which will be addressed before the final list is published.
