The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) in Andhra Pradesh has released a critical notification for all eligible postgraduate medical aspirants: the window for exercising Phase-I Web Options for admission into PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota is rapidly approaching its closure. All candidates who are named in the Final Merit Position list must complete their choice filling and locking process before the deadline on Tuesday, December 3, 2025.

This centralized selection process is vital for securing seats in Government, Private Non-Minority, and Minority medical colleges affiliated with NTRUHS and SVIMS, Tirupati, for the academic year 2025-26.

Critical Web Options Deadline

Aspirants are given a firm deadline to finalize their preferences:

  • Web Option Closing Date: December 3, 2025, up to 11:00 AM.

The process of submitting web options involves meticulously listing preferred colleges and specializations (MD/MS/PG Diploma) in the order of priority. Since the allotment will be based strictly on the candidate's NEET PG 2025 merit rank and the submitted choices, a well-researched and strategically organized choice list is paramount. No further opportunities to modify or submit choices will be provided after the 11:00 AM cutoff.

Eligibility and Participation Criteria

The Phase-I web options are open to the following candidates:

  1. All candidates whose names appear in the Final Merit Position list released by NTRUHS.
  2. The process applies to both In-Service and Non-Service candidates seeking admission under the Competent Authority Quota.

Mandatory Fee Structure and Admission Process

Candidates must be fully aware of the financial requirements associated with securing and confirming their seat:

Fee TypeCourse CategoryAmount (Category-A/CQ Seats)
University FeeAll CoursesRs 23,600/- (Must be paid online to download the allotment letter)
Tuition Fee (Annual)Clinical Degree/DiplomaRs 4,96,800/-
Tuition Fee (Annual)Para Clinical Degree/DiplomaRs 1,55,250/-
Tuition Fee (Annual)Pre Clinical Degree/DiplomaRs 70,380/-

Aspirants to whom a seat is allotted will be required to pay the University Fee immediately to download their Provisional Allotment Letter. Subsequently, selected candidates must report to their allotted college with all Original Certificates, pay the required Tuition Fee, furnish the necessary bonds, and complete all admission formalities within the dates specified by the university. Failure to complete the admission process within the stipulated time will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

Seat Matrix Overview

NTRUHS has also released a detailed seat matrix for the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) for various categories, including Service and Non-Service candidates, covering popular clinical, paraclinical, and preclinical courses.

For example, the Non-Service SWI (Special Women's Institution) Seat Matrix includes:

  • Clinical Courses: 9 seats in Anesthesiology (Anes.), 5 in General Medicine (GM), 5 in General Surgery (GS), 8 in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Obg.), 3 in Orthopaedics (Ortho.), 3 in Paediatrics (Paed.), 2 in Radio-Diagnosis (RD), and 1 in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (DVL).
  • Para-Clinical Courses: 5 seats in Pathology (Path.), 4 in Microbiology (Micro.), and 2 in Physical Medicine (PM).

Aspirants must refer to the complete official seat matrix documents to make informed choices. For regular updates on admission procedures and official notices, follow Only Education News.
