The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has released a self-declaration notice for candidates who want to retain their reported MBBS seats from Phase-I and withdraw from subsequent counselling rounds.

In a key update for medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh, the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has issued a significant notice for all candidates who have been allotted and have reported to their respective colleges in Phase-I of MBBS counselling for the academic year 2025-26.

The university has started an online process for candidates who wish to retain their existing seats and do not want to be considered for upgradation in Phase-II or any future counselling phases. To do this, candidates must submit a self-declaration through the NTRUHS official website. The online window for this declaration is open until September 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

What Aspirants Need to Know

This self-declaration is an important step for those who are content with their Phase-I seat and wish to confirm their admission. Candidates who submit this declaration will not be included in the seat allotment process for subsequent rounds of counselling.

It is crucial to note that candidates who wish to be considered for seat upgradation based on their initial one-time options, or those who plan to utilize the "free exit" facility, should ignore this notice. This decision is entirely up to the candidate and their family, and no college or university official should influence it.

To complete the process, candidates must log in to their account on the NTRUHS website, follow the self-declaration steps, and confirm their decision using an OTP sent to their registered mobile number or email. After successful submission, it is advisable to take a printout of the confirmation for future reference.
