The National Testing Agency (NTA) provides an advisory regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test every year. The examination this year is going to happen on 3rd of May.

The advisory regarding the examination has been released. The advisory is released so that the testing agency can conduct examination in a smooth manner.

After multiple issues in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination in 2025 when there were lapses in the examination process, the testing agency wants to conduct the exam in a fair way.  Last year the exam went to the multiple petitions in the Supreme Court of India, where the Supreme Court’s judgement clearly showed that the exam process wasn’t ethical.

Although the Supreme Court’s judgement showed that the process wasn’t completely ethical, the Court declined to ask the testing agency to take the exam again. The Supreme Court said that it won’t be possible for the testing agency to take the exam again.

This year before the exam the NTA has passed an advisory regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

The Biometrics in the exam centre should be completely valid. The thumb impression and iris should match, if the valid photograph doesn’t match with the person in the examination centre.

  • The National Testing Agency has asked the candidates to carry the print of the Admit Card’s copy
  • The candidates are advised to report on time if they don’t want to get into any kind of anxiety issues. If a person reaches the centre late, they won’t be allowed under any circumstances.
  • A candidate is advised to wear something light, so that they can be easily inspected by the invigilators.
  • Avoid items like shoes, watches, jewellery and other accessories.
  • A student must avoid electronic devices like phones and smart watches. Wearing this kind of material will get a candidate prohibited from the exam.
