The registration window for the NMAT 2025 is currently open, and this is the time for students to register and book their preferred exam slots. The NMAT exam is highly popular due to its flexible format, which allows candidates to choose their own exam date and take the test up to three times.

The exam is accepted by over 50 B-schools in India, including prominent institutes like NMIMS, K J Somaiya, and SDA Bocconi, making it a key stepping stone for those pursuing their MBA.

Key Dates & Details for Your Application

The NMAT 2025 offers a wide test window, but it is essential to be aware of the key deadlines for registration and scheduling.

  • Registration Window: August 1, 2025, to October 10, 2025
  • Scheduling Window: August 1, 2025, to October 14, 2025
  • NMAT Exam Delivery: November 5, 2025, to December 19, 2025

Aspirants are strongly advised to register and schedule their exam early to secure their preferred date and test center, whether it is an in-person test or the remote proctored option. The registration fee is ₹3,000 (plus taxes).

Why NMAT Stands Out

The NMAT exam offers a few unique features that make it a favorite among management aspirants:

  • No Negative Marking: Unlike many other exams, there is no penalty for incorrect answers, encouraging test-takers to attempt all 108 questions.
  • Three Attempts: Candidates have the option to take the exam up to three times—one initial attempt and two retakes—within the testing window. The best score out of all attempts is considered for admission.
  • Flexible Section Order: You have the freedom to decide the order of the three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.
