• CV Requirement: A unique part of the enrollment-tasks is the submission of a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) that does not exceed two pages.
• Identity Verification: Candidates must provide a government-issued ID, such as an Aadhaar or PAN card, to verify their profile on the candidate-portal.
• Exam Format: The NLSIU-entrance will be a pen-and-paper test consisting of objective questions (Part A) and subjective legal/analytical writing (Part B).
• Degree Verification: Candidates from international universities must ensure their qualification follows the equivalent degree-norms recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

Conclusion

As the March 23 deadline approaches, the 2026 NLSIU-entrance cycle is seeing a high volume of registrations from across the country. Students are advised to double-check their eligibility under the degree-norms before initiating the enrollment-tasks on the university website. By securing a spot through the candidate-portal now, aspirants can focus their remaining time on mastering the unique two-part examination pattern. NLSIU remains a premier destination for legal studies, and this year’s session is expected to be one of the most competitive to date.
