The date for the Institute Level Test (ILT) has also been postponed from its original date to June 12, 2026.

MBA at NIT Agartala: Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
To be eligible for the MBA course at NIT Agartala, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university. They also need to have a valid score in one of the entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, MAT, or CMAT. Additionally, candidates must have scored at least 50% in their bachelor’s degree. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage required is 45%. There is no requirement for prior work experience.

Institute Level Test (ILT) & Selection Process
The Institute Level Test (ILT) is scheduled to be held on 12th June, 2026, to assess the candidates' suitability for management studies. This test will be conducted in a computer-based format at NIT Agartala. Candidates who clear the ILT will be invited for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), which will take place from 13th to 15th June, 2026.
The selection process aims to identify individuals who possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as good leadership potential. The GD round will evaluate the candidates' ability to articulate their thoughts and participate effectively in discussions. The personal interview will focus on understanding their motivation and career goals. Ultimately, a merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance in all stages. Selected candidates will be informed by June 2026.
