NIMCET 2026 scores are accepted by 11 NITs and 2 IIITs for MCA admissions. The list of participating institutes is as follows:

• NIT Agartala, NIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal, NIT Delhi
• NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Meghalaya
• NIT Patna, NIT Raipur, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal
• IIIT Bhopal and IIIT Vadodara

These institutes together offer about 1,300 MCA seats through the NIMCET counseling process.

How to Check the NIMCET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates can check their seat allotment by following these steps:

1. Go to the official portal at nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the candidate login link for NIMCET 2026 counseling.
3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
4. Open the Round 2 seat allotment tab on the dashboard.
5. Download the allotment letter and save a printed copy.

How to Complete Online Reporting for Round 2?

The online reporting process must be completed between July 13 and July 15. This is entirely digital, and no physical reporting is needed at this stage.

1. Log in to the NIMCET counseling portal using your registered login details.
2. Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 10,000 via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
3. Upload the required documents in the specified format on the portal.
4. Wait for the verification by the assigned reporting officer.
5. Download the provisional admission letter once the seat is confirmed.

Documents Required for Online Reporting

The following documents are needed for online reporting:

1. NIMCET 2026 admit card and scorecard
2. Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
3. Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional certificate
4. Category certificate (if applicable: SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS)
5. PwD certificate (if applicable)
6. Valid photo identity proof issued by the government
7. Passport size photograph and signature scan

What Happens if a Candidate Skips Online Reporting?

If a candidate does not complete the online reporting within the deadline, their allotted seat will be automatically canceled. They will lose their current seat and won't be able to claim it again later. However, they may still be eligible for future rounds if the committee declares them so.
